How Our Readings Work
Understand what goes into a reading, and what you can reasonably take from it.
Your question, cards, and positions
A reading combines the question you submit, the cards you draw, their upright or reversed orientation, and their positions in the selected spread. A position gives a card a role: a theme in an advice position should be read differently from the same theme in a challenge position.
AI generates the interpretation and follow-up responses. Public card-meaning pages provide a separate reference library; they are not a transcript of every possible AI response.
Card symbolism and context
Our card explanations discuss familiar Rider–Waite–Smith imagery, including figures, objects, and relationships within a scene. Interpretations also depend on the question and surrounding cards. Reversed cards may suggest a blocked, inward, excessive, or difficult expression of a theme; they do not automatically mean its opposite.
The additional symbolism notes on Strength, the High Priestess, the Sun, and the Lovers link to the relevant chapters of A. E. Waite’s The Pictorial Key to the Tarot. Those historical descriptions are distinguished from Taku’s contemporary reflection examples. The book is a reference for symbolism, not evidence that predictions are accurate.
Public examples and private readings
Public examples are saved AI demonstrations created with preset questions and the cards displayed on each page. They illustrate the format of a reading and are not readings about you. Your personal questions and responses are not published as these examples.
Limits and corrections
AI can make mistakes, and symbolic interpretations can differ. We do not claim a guaranteed accuracy rate or that every response has been reviewed by a human expert. A reading is not evidence of someone’s feelings and does not replace professional advice.
